Care & Usage
SOY WAX CANDLES
All of our products go through a burn test, smell test, and wick test. Soy wax candles burns slow and cooler. The scent is released in the air in a more gradual manner. If flame start to dim, pour excess wax out, trim, and re-light wick. Abrupt waves of strong scents are avoided, therefore creating a more pleasant ambiance with an approximate up to 72 hour burn time or more depending on scent type. Burning continuously or in intervals effects burn time as well.
For Best Results: Burn candles in a safe place away from children and pets. Keep away from flammable objects, such as curtains, blankets, clothes and other fabrics. Avoid draft, fans, vents and any other direct access to air. Do not touch or move burning candles. Keep candle out of direct sun light and do not store in temperatures over 80 degrees. Always keep lit candle within your sight. Candle should burn 3 - 4 hours for wax pool to melt all the way to the edge. If you burn a candle for a long time, carbon will collect on the wick and will begin to "mushroom”. This can cause the flame to get too large. Our wicks are pre-trimmed, hence the reason for the curled tip you'll see as it burns. However once candle is cool, and harden we recommend removing used tip easily with a nail clipper or wick trimmer. Use lid or a wick dipper to extinguish candle flame. If you let candle burn for a short time it can cause the candle to “tunnel”. We recommend planning time within your day to use your candle in a relaxing state, so that candle is not left unattended.
SOY WAX MELTS
Our natural soy wax melts will burn with a soothing aroma that's nicely scented, but not too powerful. We recommend starting with (2) wax melts ranging anywhere from 10 - 12 hours, depending on the scent type, size of your wax melt and whether you're burning continuously or in intervals.
