MY GUIDING LIGHT

This picture is very special. I remember randomly speaking with my mother that day and was like “let's take a family picture!” We came together with exactly what we had on and took our photos. It turned out beautifully. She was so excited! It was a simple ask, but something that she wanted to do for some time. It was very hard for us to link up with my siblings, especially with busy schedules and all, but this made her happy. It’s the simplest things in life that somehow become difficult. One day she gave me a collage picture and told me to always keep it. When she passed away I hid it from myself, because I couldn't face the fact that she was gone. It took me a couple of years before I was able to pull it out again. This is that picture, the one that I will forever cherish. I thought I would share that with you.

My Mother was my guiding light, and I have dedicated the craft of my candles in her memory. May her light continue to shine, and may the love of your life guide and shine on you as well.
